Soups are my absolute favorite thing to make in the kitchen. There are so many options with just a few basics that we always keep on hand - and they are really versatile and easily modified to be a fulfilling staple with even some of the most rigorous dietary restrictions.

A lot of these shifts and completed tasks were not groundbreaking or completed to be shared as an influencer on social media - and several of them I thought, Why haven’t I done this sooner? And I realized that it took some shifts from outside forces to push me into the spaces I have gotten too comfortable with ignoring.

Maybe it’s just me, but life seems a little easier in the summertime. I can let my hair down a little more in the summer. “It’s summer” becomes a treasured excuse for pushing back bedtime and letting the yard fill with toys.

I used to think they were so out of reach for us (full transparency we are NOT rich), but over the last couple of years I have devoted a lot of time and research into figuring out how I can take my family on adventures without breaking our bank.

Are we spending money when we travel? Yes, we definitely are. But the last couple of years exploring our country with my family has been some of the most special times for me. I love that we get to learn, explore, and make memories together.
